Thanksgiving 1995 (I think?)

Holly and Daisy were the two dogs I grew up with. Holly was a Springer Spaniel and Daisy was a German Shepard/ Golden Retriever mix.

Holly would go and get the newspaper in the mornings. She LOVED to hunt Easter Eggs. And she knew how to roll up the windows in our mini-van.

Daisy was the athlete. She could catch a Frisbee from any angle. When she was younger she could even do back flips and catch the Frisbee. She worshiped my brother, as you can see in the picture.

Without getting too sentimental, I LOVED my dogs. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED them. I can't wait to see them again. Because All Dogs go to Heaven.

Grandparent's Name Signs

Before Christmas I was contacted by a sorority sister from college (Go Vols!) to make personalized name signs for some of her family members.  I made brother & sister name signs. I also made a sign for her sister.

Here are the signs I made for her children to give to their grandparents.

 8x3.5 Font- Times New Roman Vinyl white lettering & maroon. 

16x6 Double Boarded Font- Times New Roman 

Colors- Michigan colors of course! Blue & Maize

Letters are scrapbook paper.

It's been a while since I posted. Both my husband and I went back to work after Grayson's birth. (I work part-time for MADD). Sign measures 14.5 inches tall by 11 inches wide.  Blue painted background with brown vinyl lettering.  Font is Maiandra GD and Mnotype Corsiva.

Sign measures 18inches long by 9 inches tall. Board painted in vanilla white, then glazed and distressed. Chocolate brown burlap with initial painted in white.  Font is Monotype Corsiva.

Here comes the Bride

Anyone else in LOVE with Pinterest?  I saw this sign on there and started planning my second wedding. And for the record, I would choose the same guy :) 

This sign is for the ring bearer to carry instead of a pillow.  Sign measures 20 inches long by 9 inches tall.  Painted in a vanilla white with black vinyl lettering.  2 inch black grosgrain ribbon for handles.  Font is Edwardian Script and Bookman Old Style.
